Such stories just highlight the problem of male domination and gender discrimination in our modern society. The media is working hard to promote rape culture and submission of women. And this makes me sick. Men are sure that they do have a right to control THEIR woman.

even if you’re not celibate, it’s ok to take time between relationships or just a pause from sex to regroup. even in a relationship, you can chill with the sex to make sure that you’re both dealing with emotions in a healthy way and developing intimacy outside of just sex.
it’s ok to just slow down, reflect, and assess. and if you’re afraid of the space between relationships, or a relationship with a pause from sex, that’s something you may need to look into and address

I wish everyone would wake up and realize that your idealized self is simply your current self but with drive. The person you want to be is you if you put in the work! Like, life is ultimately up to us and we can change ourselves whenever we want! Make plans to do better for yourself, speak it into fruition, and work for it.
